\nMy first name is a last name in my family, and it\u2019s a derivation of a place in Scotland called Stairaird. I found this out when I found an early 20th century book of surnames in my college library.<\/p>\n

(Q) Do you have pets?<\/strong>
\nYes, a cat named Obi. He came with the name Don Juan, so we changed it to Obi Juan.<\/p>\n

(Q) You love people who\u2026?<\/strong>
\nTreat others the way they would like to be treated.<\/p>\n

(Q) The BEST gift you ever received?<\/strong>
\nWhen I was in college, my parents shipped me three pints of Graeter\u2019s ice cream, which is a local ice cream that is to die for. Even Oprah Winfrey has raved about it!<\/p>\n

(Q) What did you want to be as a kid?<\/strong>
\nA fashion designer, because I thought my name would make a great name for a fashion line.<\/p>\n

(Q) Tell us a little about your work history.<\/strong>
\nI spent 12 years in the higher educational publishing industry as a content project manager and a production technology analyst. I then went on to pursue a job as a QA editor. I have been freelancing as a writer, editor, and blogger for the last 5 years.<\/p>\n

(Q) Do you like Movies?<\/strong>
\nYes, I have a lot of movies I\u2019ve watched countless times, like Princess Bride, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc.<\/p>\n

(Q) What is one of the craziest thing to happen to you?<\/strong>
\nFinding out we were having twins!<\/p>\n

(Q) Favorite Restaurant?<\/strong>
\nWhat\u2019s a restaurant? I don\u2019t eat out much with having twins! But in all seriousness, I love Italian food, and I was taken to Maggiano\u2019s before my husband asked me to marry him.<\/p>\n

(Q) What is your favorite music?<\/strong>
\nMy favorite musicians and bands are Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sting, Billy Joel, Ryan Adams, Sheryl Crow\u2026and that\u2019s just a few. I do like Alternative Adult\/Folk stations on Spotify.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
