10 years ago today, I decided to stop being afraid and take a leap of faith…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Afraid of what others thought of my business ideas.
\nAfraid of what others might say if I “quit my cushy corporate job”.
\nAfraid of could I really be my own boss?
\nAfraid of – well, being afraid of my dreams.<\/p>\n

For years, I wanted to start my own business where I could take my passion for technology and love for systems and bring them to those who also shared my dream to be their own boss.<\/p>\n

I quit my corporate job 4 times in 2 years<\/strong>. Yes, 4 times! Each time I was asked to stay, for more pay, for more time off, for more, well whatever. And each time my head said yes, but heart said no. I tried working part-time the first year of my business, until I realized yet again, I was being “afraid” to completely step into it and I was NEVER going to find my purpose if I didn’t “go for it”.<\/p>\n

For the first five years I ran my business with me, myself and I. As someone who aims to please, I wanted to be the “I can do it all” for my clients. The Jane of all trades. That didn’t work out too well after a while and the concept of adding team members who enjoyed some of the things I didn’t and that could keep me from becoming a bottleneck, became clear to me.<\/p>\n

Now, 2014, the Smart to Finish team has over eight ah-mazing Divas! All of them sharing my same vision for client excellence, love for the internet and it’s offerings, and most importantly, a dedication to what we are here to do.<\/p>\n

Yay! That also means that we are going to give back for our 10 Year Anniversary, and, for 10 days only – June 30 – July 10th, all new clients that partner with us, we will give a 10% off<\/strong> our hourly rate discount.<\/p>\n
