Aren’t afraid to be who they truly are or say what they really think.

(Q) What did you want to be as a kid?
I wanted to be a cardiothoracic surgeon. The funny thing is, even though I never became a healthcare professional of any kind, I wound up working with surgeons for many years as a Research Assistant, and then to help establish the first peer-reviewed surgical video journal. And my husband actually is a cardiothoracic surgical technologist, so he works with cardiothoracic surgeons every day.
